Seeking Meaning in Photos and Phrases
Sometimes when you’re looking for a photo, it’s right in front of you. The abstract pattern of this photo opportunity struck me as interesting. I think it makes a nice graphic image.
What is it, you ask? Well, I’ve been driving the back roads, often through mud, to see what winter photos I could make. This is the residue: mud streaks on the side of my truck.
I worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 27 years in the field of rural community and economic development. I retired a few years ago and have been devoting my time to photography and writing. I've been a semi-pro photographer for more than 25 years and sell my work on the Web.
